Kanel Installations undertake supply and Installations of systems based on your understanding and acceptance of the following conditions:
General Conditions
Kanel Installations are not responsible for programming changes by Satellite Suppliers ie. Changes in Encryption, frequencies or channel lineup.
Kanel Installations are not reponsible for errors in subscription packages by Network Providers or Third Parties.
Kanel Installations have no control over third party advice on Satellite feeds or current programming provided from links on our website, this service is provided free of charge as a courtesy and should be used as such.
Kanel Installations are not responsible for the use that you the end user put the system to, any unauthorised use or modifications are taken at your own risk and will void any and all warranty from us on the product. This also includes abiding by local territorial laws.
Kanel as always do not condone the use of illegal cams and cards, and will immediately end the service contract without re-imbursement of fee of any client who is found to have installed such items.
Payment
Full payment is required upon completion of installation, we reserve the right demand access to your property to remove our hardware if this condition is not met.
If a card has been activated prior to removal you will still be responsible for this debt. A 30% restocking fee will also apply to any equipment removed.
Warranty All Warranties are given on the basis that all materials and fixings are supplied by Kanel Installations,however, if customer supplied materials are found to be at fault then a full call out charge and standard hourly fees will apply to rectify the install.
At time of install, assistance and advice will be given in the use of the entire system, customers will be asked to sign off on the job order sheet that they have been shown how to use the system. If at any later date, the customer requires further assistance due to a human error, a change of staff or a refresher course in the use of the system, Kanel Installations will charge a call out fee (1/2 hour free) and an hourly rate thereafter. This is not covered by our extended warranty.
Any goods returned to the company which are found to be in good working order will be subject to a 30% restock and postage/packing charge. Any goods returned damaged will not be refunded.
Site surveys are chargeable but refundable from any subsequent order. You will receive an initial quotation prior to the survey.
Prices quoted include 1 year return to base warranty on parts.
Extended Residential 1 Year and premium extended commercial 1 year warranties are available to cover the labour portion of any repair or replacement work required.
If the part is returned to base and it is found to have been further damaged during removal by the customer, the standard and extended warranties will be become void.
Adverse weather conditions
Damage due to adverse weather conditions to any external equipment is not covered by warranty, labour and replacement equipment costs will be charged accordingly, insurance quotations will be provided in advance. A survey fee will be charged which may or may not be covered by your insurer.
Any deviation from these terms must be in writing PRIOR to installation.
